THE NIGERIA 🇳🇬 I WANTED

So I looked back from   independence till date
Just like an aged for the day
Its awesome to get freedom but an horror to be free in none
Nigeria should have beaten neighboring countries, but our leaders could not make us feel the flavouring honey
Yet we ask the same question  Are we Progressing?

Years back fuel was never 147 naira, Are we Progressing?
We are good at making our own products, but best at Consuming others products  are we Progressing?
Many years ago, everyone wanted to Farm and produce, but now no one wants to do that anymore, are we Progressing?
Greed and power blinds politicians but they don't see it as an absurd, but a normal life, are we Progress....?
Quest for money where economic break down is the order of the day, are we Progressing?
The rate of unemployment is greater than the number of graduates yearly and nothing to equip the youth, are we Progressing?
Youth finds pleasure in doing illegal jobs and yet unemployment is still a threat, are we Progres.....?
Old ones are being captioned as street beggars, which is another job entirely, so are we Progressing?
Cooperate begging and Fraudulent acts is the order of the day, yet politicians are seen flexing and squandering the country's loot, are we Progressing?
We are not progressing!!!

Let old big politicians stop ruling
Let youth start taking over
Let corruption and laziness die in our time
Let our hearts be filled with joy again....
We can now Progressing
