According to reports, a pastor of the Assemblies of God church identified as Pastor Uche Okereke is currently involved in a fight with his daughter because of her relationship.
Pastor Okereke who worships at the Iyana Ipaja branch in Lagos was said to have frowned over his daughter Chioma's choice of a lover. Chioma is said to be involved with a Muslim boy known as Sadiq Moruf who she boldly told her father that she's pregnant for and bound to marry him.

According to reports, when the case got to a Lagos court after their fight was reported at the Igando police station, it was revealed that Chioma and 19-year-old Moruf have actually been dating for the past five years, an action which caused her to abandon her secondary school education and even move into her lover's family house.
Chioma's father spoke on what led to the fight saying: “For the past five years, I have been looking for Chioma and did not see her until last week when information got to me where Moruf was hiding her and have changed into Muslim faith.” Moruf was arrested after being accused of kidnapping Chioma, he was arraigned at a Magistrate Court in Ejigbo. Chioma however maintained that they were lovers.
