Tecno Camon 11 to hit market this week...

Finally, Tecno Camon 11 has been launched, and it is their latest phone to arrive with a notch display. The Tecno Camon 11 arrives with slightly larger specs than the predecessor and it is equivalent to the Camon series. The product information of the Camon 11 was presented by Mr. Ernest Sonkor, the Area Sales Manager.
Tecno Camon 11 did not just arrive with a notch display, like the iPhone X. But you’ll find those deluxe and impressive features, such as 19:9 aspect ratio, that makes the bezels surrounding the screen display, to be smaller and minimal.
Obviously, the Tecno Camon series is definitely a bunch of Smartphone that targets the affordable markets, and they are camera centric, especially the front selfie snapper. The Tecno Camon 11 is the latest to be added to the Camon family, lets take a quick look at the specs:

Design and Display

The Camon 11 is an Android powered Smartphone, and it arrives with a spectacular design at the front and back. It is arrives with a trapezoid notch display at the up front, which holds the selfie snapper, receiver and the Ambient light sensor.
Camon 11 is not the company’s first Smartphone to arrive with the notch display, they are others in the Camon series to come with this feature. However, if you are not into Tecno mobile, we also have bunch of Smartphone that features the notch display design.
It comes with smaller, and minimal bezels at the top and bottom, all thanks to the 19:9 aspect ratio. Tecno Camon 11 phone is equipped with AI-features, making it the company’s latest device to arrive with that. And like other Camon phones in the series, it supports the self-portrait mode, that allows you to easily take a selfie shot and the remaining background details will be blurred!

The notch at the up front, holds a single powerful selfie snapper lens, a 16-megapixels with with an LED flash. And it is enhanced with AI-features, that allows the phone to take promising pictures and amazing shots. Other cameras features, includes AI Bokeh effects, AI HDR,
With the Camon 11 AI selfie, when you take a shot from the front camera, the phone will automatically use in-built algorithms to filter the best and eradicate the others. You can easily flood your gallery with amazing shots. Surprisingly, Tecno Camon 11 is revolutionizing the camera markets.
While at the back, you will find a vertically dual camera setup, which consists of 13-megapixels + 2-megapixels with Quad-LED flash for low light photography and its also support Night Portrait mode with AR emoji. It also supports AI Automatic Scene detection, which is also known as Sports mode.

Performance and Battery

The Tecno Camon 11 is powered by a MediaTek MT6761 clocked at 2.0Ghz Quad-core processor, it will provide smart battery optimization. And it arrives with ARM Mali-G71 MP2 GPU for graphic processor, which will enhance the intensive game graphic, and bring in a more preferable gaming experience.
However, the handset comes in two different variant, there is the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM options. Both RAM will definitely introduce a smooth multitasking experience, smart switching of apps. And it runs on Tecno HiOS skin version 3.3 on top.
For the memory storage, the phone is made available in two variants, 32GB / 64GB of inbuilt storage. Fortunately, it can be expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card. Which allows you to store multiple files: such as games, applications, music, movies / videos, documents annotations and many more.
Under the hood, the phone will be fueled by a robust 3750mAh battery capacity, which support fast charging technology -MediaTek Pump Express. And on a single charge, the company claims that it will last up to a day. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with the company’s HiOS 4.1 skin version on top.

Kwara bye-election: My success, victory for Kwarans – Olawuyi

Freshly elected House of Representatives member, Mr Raheem Tunji Olawuyi has said that his victory at Saturday’s Ekiti/Isin/Oke-Ero and Irepodun federal constituency bye-election in Kwara as a victory for the people of the state.

Olawuyi said that the success was a sign of more victories to come for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 general elections in Kwara.
He said this while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday at Omu-Aran, Kwara, while reacting to the outcome of the poll.
NAN reports that Olawuyi polled 21,236 to emerge winner, while his closest rival, Mr Saheed Alatise of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), scored 18,095.
“This is a happy moment for me because we have been doing this for a long time.
“When your time has come, no one can stop you but at the same time, I give glory to God, because it is the best time Allah has created for me.
“My party believed in me to put me forward for the assignment and I thank God I have delivered,” he said.
Olawuyi, who described his party as the best in Africa, said he was never scared of the opposition because he is a grassroots politician that is loved by his people.
He said because of the fact that his people love him and follow him with passion, he will always defeat his opponents in a free and fair election.
Olawuyi said the state government’s statement that the election was between the PDP and the security agencies was laughable because it was what they were used to. He said he is now sure of an APC victory in the state in the 2019 general elections because of the spirit the electorate have demonstrated.

PDP loses all elections on Saturday!!!

Following the release of Toro Federal Constituency (Bauchi) by-election held on Saturday, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost out in all the three by-elections conducted nationwide.
All Progressive Congress (APC) won all the three elections into the House of Representatives on conducted on Saturday by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
INEC on Sunday confirmed that Alhaji Yusuf Nuhu of APC won the Toro Federal Constituency by-election in Bauchi.

Announcing the result in Toro, the Returning Officer, Prof. Ahmed Sarkin-Paggam, said Nuhu scored 27,337 votes to defeat his only opponent, Shehu Umar, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 18,235 votes.
Only APC and PDP fielded candidates for the elections.

According to the returning officer, a total of 41,532 votes were cast, out of which 40,552 were valid and 970 votes invalid.
Toro Federal Constituency seat became vacant when the member representing the constituency, Lawan Yahaya Gumau contested and won the Bauchi South Senate seat in a by-election held on Aug. 11.
INEC on Saturday night confirmed also confirmed Mr. Raheem Olawuyi, the candidate of APC as winner of the vacant House of Representatives seat for Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero constituency in Kwara state.
INEC’s Chief Returning Officer for the poll, Prof. Abimbola Adesoji, said Olawuyi got 21,236 votes, followed by PDP candidate Saheed Alatise, with 18,095 votes.
The Labour Party had 150 votes, the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN) 76 votes and UPN 42 votes.
Professor Adesoji, from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, said out of the 40,930 total votes cast, the total number of valid votes was 39,599 while 1,331 votes were rejected.
INEC also declared Alhaji Abubakar Kusada of the APC as winner of the bye-election into the House of Representatives in Katsina state.
The election was conducted in the Kankiya/Kusada/Ingawa Federal constituency in Katsina state on Saturday.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Kusada was the speaker of Katsina state House of Assembly before his election today.

Prof Adedayo Hamza, the returning officer who announced the result on Saturday in Kankiya said Kusada scored 48,518 votes to emerge winner.
Alhaji Abdussamad Yusuf of PDP came second with 20,193 votes, while Nasiru Kankiya of the Peoples Redemption Party scored 1,810 votes as second runner-up.
